Your workshop can consist of as little as one person or as many as forty people! We do ask that all attendees create a piece.

The length of your experience may vary depending on our schedule for the day. An average workshop experience lasts for 1-1.5 hours for a group of 2-4 guests. It typically takes about 15-30 minutes per person actively in the hot shop depending on the item you choose to create. Please expect to add around 30-45 minutes of time if you are attending a class during our busy season (Oct-Dec) and on Saturdays. Some pieces do take longer to create than others, and creating art is never an exact science!

Once you’re in the studio, you can choose the piece you’d like to create. A menu of options can be found below. Guests will choose their color and design and work with their own personal glass artist to create their one-of-a-kind piece.
In workshops, guests are free to express their creative energy but for many safety reasons, our glass artists will be responsible for some elements of the glass blowing process.
Guests will mainly handle tool-working with guidance from your glass artist.

Workshops prices range from $60 to $160 per piece depending on what you would like to create. Keep an eye out for our monthly specials! The price you pay is the cost of the item you choose to create. There is no additional class fee on top of the item cost.

*Groups on 8+ will have an automatic 20% gratuity added to each individual item created.

We teach children as young as six years old - as long as they can take instruction well. Minors will need a parent or guardian to complete their safety waiver. Please have an adult ready to help your child if needed. All children must be accompanied by an adult while in the studio.

Workshops are offered by appointment only, but same-day appointments may be available! Call our front desk at 440-394-8483 to check on our daily schedule.

We have an assortment of complimentary beverages available to guests including beer, wine, and sparkling water. Alcoholic beverages are limited to 1 per person. You may also bring your own beverages (including beer and wine!). Feel free to stop at M Italian’s bar next door and bring in a cocktail to enjoy!

Please refrain from bringing ANY outside food into the studio without prior arrangements with our staff. Only groups of 8 or more may arrange bringing food into the studio, and a table fee does apply.

Workshop pieces take 3-4 business days to be ready once they are completed. We will advise you on the day your items will be ready when you are in the studio. We will not call when they are complete. Items are held for 30 days from the workshop date. Stop in anytime for pickup during business hours!

Yes! We are happy to ship workshop items for our out-of-town guests. Please arrange shipping with the front desk at checkout. Shipping typically ranges from $20-$35 per piece depending on piece size and shipping distance.

We require a $50 deposit when booking your workshop that will be applied to your total on the day of class. You will pay for your pieces created at the end of your workshop experience. Glass Asylum Gift Cards are treated as cash value.
We accept card payments, check, or cash.
There is a 3% surcharge that applies to all card purchases. We will waive this if paying by check or cash (ATM available at Huntington Bank across the street). Payment is required at the time of service - no exceptions.
