Store Policies

1. Reservation and Deposit: All appointments require a reservation, secured with deposit. This deposit is non-refundable but may be moved with rescheduling.
2. Workshop Check-in: For workshops, there is a 10-minute grace period for check-in. If you do not arrive within this grace period, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and you will forfeit your deposit.
3. Studio Food and Drink Policies: We do not allow outside food in the studio without prior approval from Glass Asylum staff. Groups of 8 or more may pay a table fee to bring in outside food or order Family Style Appetizers from M Italian. Please select the appropriate add-on when booking online. You are welcome to bring in non-alcoholic/alcoholic beverages to your appointment. We do offer one complimentary drink when you get to the studio.
4. Participant Responsibilities: All attendees must create an item when in the studio. We reserve the right to charge a $50 reduced appointment fee per absent participant. We reserve workshop time for every member of your party, and we ask that you respect our studio time with an accurate headcount.
5. Changes by the Glass Asylum: The Glass Asylum reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, every effort will be made to accommodate participants with alternate appointment times.
6. Participant Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly during the appointment. The Glass Asylum reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying disruptive behavior. All participants that enter into the hot-shop must review our policies and procedures and sign a waiver of release before the beginning of your workshop. For your safety, all instructor instructions must be followed.
7. Liability: The Glass Asylum is not responsible for any damages or injuries incurred during the appointment. Please see our Safety Guidelines & Procedures before attending your workshop. https://www.theglassasylum.com/waiver/
8. Refunds and Exchanges: There are no refunds or exchanges for workshops once completed. The class you paid for is an experience, and all items created are final.
9. By making a reservation, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

No Returns, No Refunds, No Exchanges
Due to the custom-made nature of our products, we do not accept returns, offer refunds, or allow exchanges. Here’s why:
• Handmade Quality: Every item in our collection is handmade by skilled glassblowers. Variations in color, texture, and shape are part of the charm and uniqueness of handmade products. All of our products are one-of-a-kind and may be irreplaceable.
• Direct Support to Artists: When you purchase from Glass Asylum, you are supporting independent artists directly. They receive compensation for their time, effort, and creativity, which enables them to continue producing their beautiful artwork.
• Customization and Personalization: Many of our items are customizable or personalized to your specifications. Once an item is customized for you, it may not be suitable for resale to another customer.

In the unfortunate event that your shipped item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Proof will be required to verify damages. We will work with you to arrange for a replacement.
For all orders picked up in store, including workshop items, you are responsible for your piece once it is your possession. Please reach out to our team within 24 hours of pickup if you have any issues with your pieces.
Refunds are never available for workshops as the experience of creating the item is part of the cost.
